If you are into smartphone photography and you have the iPhone then most likely you have heard of the olloclip. If not, then watch out for our upcoming episode soon all about the olloclip for iPhone 6.
One of the downsides of the olloclip is you can only use it on a naked iPhone 6. Although there was already an announcement made at CES2015 in Vegas according to this article from 9to5mac, that we will be expecting the new olloclip case (one that allows you open a part of the case to fit the olloclip lens) I still find it a slight disadvantage to only be able to use the lens on a naked phone.
If you are like me, one who is very protective if this expensive and essential tool that is the iPhone then you would be happy to know I have discovered this very thin case which is just .3mm thick. What does this mean? It means it can easily fit the olloclip lens without having to remove the case from the phone! Check out these photos.
Cool content huh? This case is very nice to use as it preserves the sexiness of the iPhone 6 it almost feels like your using it naked minus the scratch risk.
This case is made by momax and is called the membrane case and I got it from JV Shop and Shop for about P800.00 only.
And you get different color options too!
One disadvantage of the olloclip though is you cannot put on a screen protector as that will already add to the thickness and won’t allow you to fit the lens in already. So goodbye tempered glass screen protectors. I had to remove mine as soon as the olloclip arrived.
Also just to add, if you find this case too thin for you, example, if I go out to run or bike, I want more protection because of the increased risk of dripping the phone. So, I put on this cheap silicon case which goes over this case with ease.
It’s a no brand cheap silicon case that only cost me P200.00 just for that extra protection when I need it. Since it’s made of Silicon it comes on and off easily so no hassle there. Also got this from JV Shop and Shop.
